A call for

Women’s international campaign against the criminal siege on Gaza Strip and against the danger of Middle- East nuclear war Movement of Democratic women in Israel (MDWI) calls for an international women’s campaign against the continuous criminal siege, forced by Israeli government on Gaza Strip and against the danger of nuclear war in the Middle-East. We, activist women –Arabs and Jews – of MDWI are blaming Israeli government, headed by Ehud Olmert, that while enjoying generous assistance from U.S.A, and in full accordance with Bush administration, is going on with occupation crimes in the Palestinian territories. And what is especially dangerous – Olmert, in accordance with Bush, is preparing a military attack on Iran. American experts declared that in case of such a war, Israel will be hit by nuclear rockets, but will be able to continue the war by its submarines armed by nuclear rockets. As women and mothers, we can’t stay indifference. We warn, that such an attack may lead to a nuclear holocaust. The whole area will be destroyed, thousands, may be millions, will die.

We call for women, champions of peace all over the world: - Let us act now against the siege on Gaza and for just and stable peace between Israel and the Palestinian state, the will be established within the 1967 borders.

- Let us act against Israel aggressive plans towards Iran and to prevent nuclear holocaust.

- Let us act for Middle-East free from nuclear and mass destruction weapons. We will be thankful if women organizations will send letters including the above demands to the following addresses:
